Our custom-built analytical laboratory facilities are designed for static and flow-through bioassay systems. Freshwater and saltwater species are maintained for Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing.
BMI has designed and implemented a rigorous quality assurance program that satisfies all U.S. EPA requirements. Key elements include thorough documentation of procedures and training of laboratory personnel who are routinely audited and certified. In addition, BMI employs both a Project Director and a Quality Assurance Officer to supervise all of our services.
Since 1980, BMI scientists have solved clients’ environmental problems by providing professional aquatic toxicology, ecological risk assessment and advisory services.
We interact with regulatory agencies on behalf of both public and private clients for evaluations, modifications and permit negotiations.
